Very famous for its underground water wheel, it was a small copper mine. Easy walk in and fantastic photo opportunities.

Up the ladder to an upper level, and a nice kibble to be seen.

Easy walk in, shallow wading in entrance. Catwalk over flooded stope, short ladder to upper workings.

Meeting and Parking

Drive to Furnace and take minor road uphill to the end where there is car park at SN 708 939

Picnic tables and a nice spot, but beware of midges.
